Wills
Why have your will drafted? The reason is very simple:
Having a will ensures that your assets will be distributed according to your wishes, instead of being divided according to the rules of distribution as set out in the Intestate Succession Act.
Probate (where there is a will) proceedings are also generally quicker and cheaper than obtaining letters of administration (where there is no will).
The drafting of a will is generally a one-time-off fee for most individuals, and is a very affordable (but crucial) document to have drafted. A well-crafted will should cover all of your assets so that none of your assets will fall under the intestacy laws, and therefore it is safer if you entrust the drafting of your will to qualified professionals.

Powers of Attorney
Did you just clinch that wonderful expatriate package job overseas? Congratulations! One of the matters that you need to handle before relocating will be the renting out of your property. In order to entrust your relative with the power to rent your property out, you will require a Power of Attorney which we, at Arielle Law Corporation, will be happy to draft for you.
Tenancy Agreements and Disputes
As a tenant, it is important that your Tenancy Agreement does not impose unreasonable demands on you. While as a Landlord, you would want your Tenancy Agreement to be watertight in order to protect your property. It is therefore important that before you sign any Tenancy Agreement, you should have a lawyer review the Tenancy Agreement.
In all relationships, there will sometimes be hiccups or conflicts. This is when your Tenancy Agreement becomes crucial. We can review, and interpret the Tenancy Agreement that you have signed to determine your rights, and to issue Letters of Demand where necessary.

Deed Polls
Do you wish to change your name for better luck, or to sound more distinguished? A Deed Poll is what you need, and we can prepare one for you with minimum fuss.
Employment Contracts
If you are reading this, most likely your employment is not governed by the Employment Act. In which case, your Employment Contract is the most important piece of document governing your obligations, rights, entitlement and relationship with your employer.
As such, it would be prudent if you have your Employment Contract professionally reviewed by a lawyer before signing. We can point out the landmines, amend and assist you strategically in your negotiation with your future employer.

Letters of Demand
Did you lend money that has not been repaid? Or has your employer failed to pay your salary or commission? Has someone infringed your copyright by reproducing a photograph that you took without your permission?
A Letter of Demand is the first step in showing how serious you are in claiming what is rightfully yours.
